Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account or use the service, including your email address, company details, and the public website or pricing-page URLs you choose to monitor.

We also process service information needed to operate RivalChange, such as monitored public-page content, pricing snapshots, account activity, and technical logs. Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe; RivalChange does not store full card numbers.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve RivalChange, including to maintain your account, monitor the public pages you select, send pricing-change alerts and billing messages, prevent misuse, and respond to support requests.

We do not sell personal information or use it to build advertising profiles.

When we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run RivalChange, such as hosting, database, email-delivery, and payment providers. They may process information only as needed to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the security of RivalChange and its users.

Public pricing pages

RivalChange monitors public webpages that you add to your account. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to ask us to monitor those URLs and for complying with the terms that apply to those websites.

Retention and security

We keep account and monitoring data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legitimate business, legal, and security purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can update your account, pause or remove monitored competitors, or cancel a paid subscription from RivalChange. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing brett.rear@gmail.com.

International processing

Our service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries where they operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.

Children

RivalChange is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as RivalChange evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
